Lipomas

Lipomas are collections of fat cells below the surface of the skin that feel rubbery to touch. Lipomas are usually harmless growths and are often confused with cysts.

Lipomas are typically not treated unless they are causing pain or growing too quickly. In cases where treatment is desired by the patient, any of our board certified dermatologists can remove the lipoma with surgical excision at our office.
